Wedding Filming Overview
For Wedding
coverage generally starts 1 hour prior to the the actually Wedding
Ceremony.
For a Church Wedding when I arrive, I start with shots of
the Church outside, then go to in and do a few shots inside (if
allowed).
I then use these shots as a backgrounds for your titles along with your
photographs.
Wedding Of Bride and Groom, Bestman, Chief Bridesmaid, Bridesmaids, Ushers,
etc
Next I Film The Groom, Bestman and all of the rest of the Wedding Party
and guests arriving, as many as I can. Not all like to be filmed, in which
case I respect their wishes and don't film them.
Finally I capture the Bride arriving and a few shots before she goes inside
the chuch.
I then go inside the church and setup on the tripod to record the actually
Wedding Ceremony in full.
(note where allowed, as stated by vicar, minster, priest, etc)
Next I go through to the vestrary and record the signing of the register
along with a few other candid shots of the Bride and Groom and Main Wedding
Party.
After all this, unless there is an extended service, in which I will resume
my position back on the tripod for further filming; I get ready at the back of
the Church ready to capture the Bride and Groom walking down the aisle as a
married couple.
Next I proceed outside and continue as before and record the Happy Couple
Outside along with members of the Weddding Party and guests, normally working
along and complimenting the stills photographer.
If the Bride and Groom are to go off to a nice location like the local park
or lake, etc, then I will following and again working along side the still
photographer recording the Bride and Groom solo for even more extra footage.
Next arrive at the reception, record outside shots of the venue, then go I
inside and record the Reception Room, balloons, banners, tables, and Wedding
Cake. Followed by Shots of The Bride and Groom cutting the cake and
then record the Bride and Groom enter in through the doors, and the
welcomed applause as they make their way through the receiving line.
Finally I wait a while whilst the meal is served, after which I the
begin recording the Grand Wedding Speeches in Full.
End of Part 1
Part 2
Recording of the evening Reception filming up to 9:30pm, to include recording
of Night Time Guests arriving, table shots and general Happy Candid
Shots of the Wedding Party and any Dancing going on down on the
DanceFloor. Most importantly The Famous Bride and Grooms First Dance, finally
recording the buffet in full and further shots of the cake.
Part 3
Waiting a while whilst the Buffet is served, then record any addition
speeches, presentations, flowers, and general other thank you's, etc.
Next record a few more guests as earlier on, then some dancing again,
followed by Last Slow Dance of the night for the Bride and
Groom.
